Identified v3.52 via Yitz Feig. Iku Kohn — one of two Kohn brothers from Tiszadob whose names are inscribed on the Tiszadob memorial plaque sponsored jointly by Laci and Jenő Klein. Iku was Zeidy's best friend from Tiszadob and through life in New York (Queens). Per Yitz Feig: "Zeidy used to talk to him all the time." A photograph exists of Zeidy and Iku together in nice suits — to be added to /images/ in a future version once located. The friendship is part of what kept Tiszadob present in Zeidy's American life: someone who had known him before the war, who had survived, who had also chosen New York. Both Kohns appear on the Tiszadob memorial plaque alongside the Klein, Goldstein, and Weisz names that the Klein brothers (Laci and Jenő) sponsored.
