Tiszadob. Gyula was born to Gizella Goldstein (Lina Klein's younger sister) and Ferenc Büchler on 15 August 1919 in Tiszadob — the same village as the Kleins. He was Zeidy Laci's first cousin on the Goldstein side. Murdered at Auschwitz on 15 June 1944 at age 24, three weeks after the Tiszadob deportation. Hebrew date: 24 Sivan 5704 — eighteen days after the Klein-side communal yahrzeit on 6 Sivan; his is observed on its actual date. Source: Yad Vashem PoT, Item ID 6505844.
Lajos = Gyula (confirmed v3.53): The name on the Tiszadob memorial plaque sponsored by Laci and Jenő reads Büchler Lajos; the Yad Vashem record reads Gyula Büchler. v3.51 merged them; v3.52 re-opened the question; v3.53 closes it again — they are the same person, on the same parallel-name pattern as Laci (Mordechai Elazar) and Jenő (Eliyahu) and Avrohom Chaim (Lajos Klein). Suzy Fishbain (see below) is his daughter.
